Red Dead Redemption Pc Port
Red Dead Redemption II has not only been one of the standout games of the year, but has become one of the landmark experiences this console generation. Much like Grand Theft Auto V a few years ago, fans have been clamoring for Rockstar's open world game to come to the land of PC gaming since.
Red Dead Redemption 2 publisher Take-Two may be proud of the game’s successful launch, but it won’t give any hints as to when or if the game is getting a release on PC.
With Red Dead Redemption 2 shifting 17 million units worldwide on PS4 and Xbox One, investors last night were keen to hear about a possible PC release.
The original game never made it to PC, but Take-Two’s mega-hit GTA 5 did get a stunning port to PC, years after its original release on PS3 and Xbox 360.
During Take-Two’s investment call last night, one plucky investor pulled out the question and got this little verbal back-and-forth reply:
Investor: Red Dead 1 was not on PC. Any updated thoughts on making Red Dead 2 available on PC down the road? Thanks.

Investor: Yeah, Strauss, just on making Red Dead 2 available on PC.
Strauss Zelnick: On making it available on PC?
Lainie Goldstein (also Take-Two): PC.
Strauss Zelnick: In terms of ongoing releases, Rockstar will talk about what their intentions are going forward with regard to all upcoming products and that the same would hold true for platform. So, in this particular instance, I can’t really give you too much clarity, apologies.
That’s not a no, but as expected, Take-Two is keeping its cards tight to its chest.

It’s unlikely Take-Two or Rockstar will discuss the existence of a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 any time soon. Rockstar is busy enough preparing for the release of the Red Dead Online beta later this month.
As well as expectation that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on PC at some point in the future, files in-game have suggested its existence. As has a programmer from Rockstar Leeds.
Regarding the PC port.
It is happening. It is inevitable and I never had a doubt in my mind. Developers are more likely to absolutely confirm there is not going to be a PC port of their game rather than not mention it. Red Dead was an anomaly from Rockstar, and their reasoning as the game being coded poorly is a good enough reason.
Introduction to business management textbook pdf.
After the recent circulation of screenshots from a retailer selling a PC copy of red dead redemption 2 preorder and the old leak of a rockstar employee working on 'Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4, XBONE, PC), it appears we could see the game come to PC sooner than expected, which was years into the future. Their whole marketing strategy is covered in the DNA of the marketing of GTA V- the PC release was supposed to be when the PS4 and XBONE versions dropped but they decided to release those first- so gamers who had a next gen console would buy the game again AND on PC.

There are 2 options really- they port the game onto the PS5 and possibly Xbox Scarlett consoles next year and we see the game coming to PC in 2020, or the PC version comes out next year and the new gen consoles and the RDR2 port comes out in 2020. The former option would generate more revenue for rockstar, as while I am getting a PS5 day one most likely, I would skip this version for the PC version.
If the PC version comes out in exactly 6 months from the Oct 26th releaee, that would be April 26th, a similar release season to GTA V on PC. A good time to release; it doesn't have to be a holiday season like the XBO and PS4 versions which may be purchased as seasonal gifts and such, as PC products can just be bought on the spot and downloaded.

Love to hear your ideas, this is from a PC and console gamer with a preference of PC but I am not a 'pcmasterrace' guy. I respect people have different preferences.
